Oakstone Designs established in 2004 with the aim of continuing and developing the great tradition of producing beautiful, solidly built English furniture.

We are a small business situated in Darlington in the North East of England employing a small, conscientious team of cabinet makers who work exclusively on one commission at a time from drawing board through to installation. This ensures that each of our projects receives 100% of our time, commitment and attention to detail.

We aim to create contemporary furniture that surpasses expectation and exudes a feeling of quality, both in terms of design and construction, using time honored cabinet making skills that have stood the test of time. All of our furniture is truly bespoke and our designs always begin with a blank canvas. We do not have any standard ranges, sizes or pre-conceived designs; each room we transform is designed specifically to suit an individual customer’s specific tastes and requirements.
